Indian market is likely to have a positive opening, as the Asian market is trading higher and US market ended in green. On Monday, the Indian markets ended flat as BSE Sensex closed at 13,872.37 down by 36.21 points while Nifty grew marginally by 4.4 points to close at 4,087.90. We expect the market to be remain optimism during the trading session.
Wednesday, the US markets closed in green. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) closed higher by 75.74 points at 13,211.88. The S&P 500 (SPX) index grew by 9.62 points to close at 1,495.92 while the NASDAQ Composite (RIXF) closed up by 26.31 points at 2,557.84.
Indian ADRs ended in green. In technology sector, Satyam, Wipro, Patni computers and Infosys closed higher by 2.12%, 1.69%, 1.26% and 0.56% respectively. In banking sector, HDFC bank and ICICI bank closed up by 2.51% and 2.23% respectively. VSNL and MTNL surged by 1.60% and 1.39%. In automobile sector, Tata Motors down by 0.22%.
The major stock markets in Asia are trading in green. Hang Seng inclined by 205.57 points to trade at 20,594.06. Straits Times trading higher at 3,450.34 rose by 32.53 points. Taiwan weighted advanced by 3.02 points to trade at 7,906.06Today, Nifty has support at 4,010 and resistance at 4,190 and BSE Sensex has support at 13,710 and resistance at 14,180.
