The markets are trading lower as selling pressure continued in the selective scrips mainly led by the Oil & Gas, Capital Goods and Auto stocks. However, the Consumer Durables, Realty and IT stocks are trading higher. The BSE Mid Cap and the BSE Small Cap have maintained their opening gains are also trading higher.
The overall market breadth is positive as 1673 stocks are advancing while 751 stocks are declining and the 62 stocks remained unchanged on BSE.
The BSE Mid cap is higher by 71.54 points at 5,714.28 and the BSE small Cap is up by 89.90 points to trade at 7,070.
At 12.30 pm, BSE Sensex was at 14,568.71 down by 87.98 points and the NSE Nifty was at 4,384.75 down by 28.80 points.
BSE Metal index advanced by 60.70 points at 13,311.01 as JSW Steel (5.57%), Jindal Saw (2.08%), Ispat Industries (1.84%) and Gujarat NRE (1.93%) are trading in green.
BSE Power index increased by 10.16 points to 2,671.91. Gainers are Torent Power (5.68%), GVK Power (2.05%), Tata Power (1.03%) and Reliance Power (0.41%).
BSE Bankex index is trading higher by 35.90points at 6,764.55. Gainers are IDBI Bank (2.47%), AXIX Bank (2.72%), Bank of Baroda (0.76%) and PNB (0.61%).
BSE Realty index improved by 57.59 points to 5,256.79. The major gainers are Sobha Developers (4.06%), India Bull Real (3.69%), Parsavnath (2.09%) and HDIL (2.01%).

BSE Oil & Gas index was trading 60.23 points lower at 9,986.64 as BPCL (2.32%), Gail India (1.44%), HPCL (0.31%) and Indian Oil (0.14%) are trading in negative.
