Indian market is likely to have a flat opening with positive bias, as the US market closed flat and Asian market is trading higher. On Tuesday, the Indian markets closed flat, as BSE Sensex closed at 13,189.54 up by 11.80 points and Nifty gained 4.65 points to close at 3,848.15. We expect the market to remain rangebound for the day.
Tuesday, the US markets closed flat. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) surged 4.71 points to close at 12,573.85. The S&P 500 (SPX) index grew 3.78 points to close at 1,448.39, and the NASDAQ Composite (RIXF) up by 8.43 points to close at 2,477.61.
The Indian ADRs closed mixed. In technology sector, Infosys and Satyam dropped by 0.91% and 1.48%, while Wipro advanced 0.31%. In Banking sector ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank grew by 0.72% and 0.55% respectively.
The major stock market in Asia is trading higher. The Nikkei 225 is trading at 17,679.02 up by 14.33 points, while Hang Seng advanced 86.01 points to trade at 20,433.88. Straits Times trading flat 3,423.87, up by 1.25 points.
Today, Nifty has support at 3,800 and resistance at 3,900 and BSE Sensex has support at 13,000 and resistance at 13,325.
