The market is trading firm. The market rebound from the lower level as some buying is seen in the selective scrips. The overall market breadth is positive as 1304 stocks are advancing while 1009 stocks are declining on BSE and 98 stocks remained unchanged on BSE.
At 12.30 pm, BSE sensex was at 14,439.40 up by 41.51 points and Nifty was at 4,271.7 up by 15.14 points. The BSE mid cap is trading higher by 46.42 points to 6253.12 and small cap advanced by 56.54 points to 7391.18.
BSE Capital goods index surged 112.63 points to 10711.01 as BHEL (2.58%), L&T (0.69%), Siemens (0.77%) and ABB (0.05%) are trading in green.
BSE Health Care index inclined 39.23 points to trade at 3832.32 as Ranbaxy (1.93%), Cipla (1.75%), Sun Pharma (1.35%), Dr. Reddy (0.23%) and GSK (0.21%) are trading in positive.
BSE Oil & gas index was trading 35.21 points up at 7736.28 as RPL (1.68%), HPCL (1.23%), ONGC (0.58%), IPCL (0.25%) are trading in green whereas BPCL (0.81%) and GAIL (0.28%) are trading in red.
BSE Auto index grew 34.82 points to trade at 4952.72 as M&M (2.54%), Tata Motors (0.85%), and Bajaj Auto (0.13%) are trading in positive while Hero Honda (0.62%) and Maruti (0.54%) are trading in negative.
BSE Metal index inclined 22.94 points to trade at 10477.82 as Tata Steel (2.01%), Hindalco (0.94%) are trading higher whereas SAIL (0.88%) and NALCO (0.18%) are trading lower.
BSE Banks index advanced 10.25 points to trade at 7574.33 as ICICI Bank (0.13%) is trading higher while PNB (0.48%), HDFC Bank (0.14%) and SBI (0.08%) are trading lower.
BSE IT index inclined 8.06 points to trade at 4923.31 as TCS (0.38%) and Wipro (0.1%) are trading in green whereas HCL (1.39%) and Infosys (0.59%) are trading in red.
BSE FMCG index advanced 2.59 points to trade at 1921.09 as HLL (1.3%) and ITC (0.0.9%) are trading in green whereas Dabur (0.05%) is trading in red.
