Pre Open Market Commentary

Indian market is likely to have a flat opening as the Asian market is trading mixed. On Friday, the Indian markets ended on a positive note, as BSE Sensex closed higher by 196.86 points at 15,318.60 while Nifty grew by 51.7 points to close at 4,464. We expect the market to remain choppy during the trading session.

Friday, the US markets closed in green. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) grew by 119.01 points to close at 13,357.74. The S&P 500 (SPX) index grew by 16.35 points to close at 1,473.99 and the NASDAQ Composite (RIXF) advanced by 31.06 points to close at 2,596.36.

Indian ADRs ended in positive territory. In technology sector, Wipro grew by (4.13%) along with Satyam by (3.92%), Infosys by (2.73%) and Patni computers (1.56%). In banking sector, ICICI bank and HDFC bank surged by (7.63%) and (6.76%) respectively. MTNL and VSNL dropped by (5.01%) and 4.67% respectively. Tata Motors grew by (3.48%).

The major stock markets in Asia are trading mixed. Japan''s Nikkei trading lower by 111.04 points at 16,458.05. Taiwan weighted advanced by 23.34 points to trade at 9,005.50. Singapore Strait times trading flat at 3,393.70. Seoul Composite increased by 6.01 points to trade at 1,879.25.

Today, Nifty has support at 4,410 and resistance at 4,540 and BSE Sensex has support at 15,110 and resistance at 15,530.
