Pre Open Market Commentary

Indian market is likely to have a flat opening, as the US market closed flat and Asian market is trading mixed. On Wednesday, the Indian markets closed in green, as BSE Sensex closed at 12,786.77 up by 162.19 points and Nifty gained 42.60 points to close at 3,733.25. We expect the market to be choppy during the day.

Wednesday, the US markets closed flat. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) surge 19.75 points to close at 12,530.05. The S&P 500 (SPX) index grew 1.60 points to close at 1,439.37, and the NASDAQ Composite (RIXF) up by 8.36 points to close at 2,458.69.

Indian ADRs ended mixed. In technology sector, Infosys grew by 0.77% and Wipro closed down by 0.63%. In banking sector, ICICI Bank surged by 0.64% while HDFC Bank fell by 0.75%. MTNL and VSNL dropped by 0.88% and 0.48%.

The major stock market in Asia is trading mixed. The Nikkei 225 is trading at 17,467.90 down by 76.19 points, while Hang Seng advanced by 207 points to trade at 20,209.71. Straits Times trading flat 3,333.15. Taiex rose 71.70 points to trade at 8004.61.

Today, Nifty has support at 3,630 and resistance at 3,800 and BSE Sensex has support at 12,650 and resistance at 12,975.
