Pre Open Market Commentary

Indian market is likely to have a positive opening, as On Friday, the Indian markets ended in a positive note, as US market ended in green and Asian market is trading higher. BSE Sensex closed at 13,384.08 up by 270.27 points while Nifty inclined by 87.5 points to close at 3917.35. We expect the market to remain positive during the day.

Friday, the US markets closed in green. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) closed up by 59.17 points at 12612.13. The S&P 500 (SPX) index grew by 5.05 points to close at 1452.85 while the NASDAQ Composite (RIXF) advanced by 11.62 points to close at 2491.94.

Indian ADRs ended in positive. In technology sector, Satyam, Infosys, and Wipro were up by 4.81%, 2.67% and 2.47% respectively. In banking sector, ICICI and HDFC Bank inclined by 2.78% and 1.49% respectively. VSNL and MTNL grew by 1.55% and 1.54% respectively. In automobile sector, Tata Motors was up by 2.26%.

The major stock market in Asia is trading in positive territory. The Nikkei 225 is trading at 17,653.97 up by 290.02 points, Hang Seng surged by 166.48 points to trade at 20,507.45. Straits Times trading up by 23.02 points higher at 3,396.61. Taiex increased by 7.29 points to trade at 8,052.41.

Today, Nifty has support at 3,800 and resistance at 4,050 and BSE Sensex has support at 13,100 and resistance at 13,550.
