Mid Market Commentary

The market is trading flat at lower level and remains rage bound. The overall market breadth is negative as 1213 stocks are advancing while 1229 stocks are declining and 73 stocks remains unchanged on BSE.

At 12.31 pm, BSE sensex was at 15,286.25 down by 3.57 points while Nifty was at 4,493.50 down by 3.25 points. The BSE mid cap is higher by 11.67 points at 6,801.24 and small cap advanced by 33.38 points to 8,241.15.

BSE IT index surged 25.62 points to trade at 4,905.46 as Infosys (0.57%), TCS (0.35%) and Wipro (0.20%) are trading in green whereas HCL Tech. (1.48%) is trading in red.

BSE Auto index increased 7.17 points to trade at 5,025.10 as Bajaj Auto (1.30%), M&M (0.87%) and Hero Honda (0.43%) are trading in green while Tata Motors (1.20%) and Maruti Udyog (1.09%) are trading in red.

BSE Capital goods index increased 0.95 points to 12,803.83 as BHEL (1.61%) is trading in positive while ABB (1.11%), L&T (0.92%) and Siemens (0.15%) are trading in negative.

BSE Banks index is trading marginally up by 0.07 points to trade at 8,351.89 as HDFC Bank (1.17%) is trading in positive whereas PNB (0.52%), SBI (0.25%) and ICICI Bank (0.21%) are trading in negative.

BSE Oil & Gas index was trading 13.13 points down at 7,971.78 as ONGC (1.42%), RPL (0.87%) and IPCL (0.28%) are trading in negative while GAIL (3.38%) and HPCL (0.39%) are trading in positive.

BSE FMCG index decreased 6.51 points to trade at 1,840.31 as Dabur (0.97%) and ITC (0.64%) are trading in red.

BSE Metal index dropped 4.24 points to trade at 11,864.20 as NALCO (1.98%) and Hindalco (0.56%) are trading in negative while SAIL (1.31%) and Tata Steel (0.44%) are trading in positive.

BSE Health Care index decreased 2.36 points to trade at 3,822.55 as Dr. Reddy (1.63%) is trading in negative while GSK (0.72%), Ranbaxy (0.29%) and Sun Pharma (0.20%) are trading in positive.
